88-90 Burghound. Classic ruby. Equally bright and ultra-fresh aromas include those of red cherry, currant and whiffs of forest floor and pepper. The delicious and punchy flavors are not especially dense though they are more refined than is typical for the appellation while delivering good persistence and reasonable depth. This initially seems as though it's too light to be interesting but in fact there is deceptively good flavor authority.
