**** Jasper Morris. Rich deep purple, heady nose, the Ile de Vergelesses has swallowed its oak on the nose, but shows it more on the palate. Deep plum fruit here, the fruit covering the structure, 14%, perhaps a little clumsy to the finish. No doubt about the volume though. Give this time. Tasted Oct 2020
