90 Burghound. There is good freshness to the pretty and quite floral nose that displays notes of both red and dark berry fruit, plum and the barest hint of wood. I like the solid mid-palate density of the delicious and nicely mineral-inflected flavors that possess a caressing mouthfeel where the lingering if slightly rustic finish is shaped by moderately firm tannins on the better-balanced finale. Note that at least some patience will be necessary and overall, this is really quite a good Beaune villages.
