93-94 Jasper Morris. Racked with its lees and currently in a somewhat reductive state. Dense purple colour. Underneath the light reduction there is a first-class intensity of lively black fruit. Vibrant, indeed so much fruit that the wood and the stems do not impinge. A silky quality to the fruit then the more rumbustious and complex whole bunch finish. Tasted Oct 2017.
