94 Burghound. Ripe yet attractively fresh notes of mineral reduction and iodine combine with aromas of citrus, pear and acacia blossom. As is usually the case the broad-shouldered flavors are intense and powerful while displaying an almost aggressive salinity on the strikingly persistent, sappy and palate staining finale that evidences plenty of citrus zest character. This moderately structured effort will require at least some patience though it's not so backward that it couldn't be enjoyed now. With that said, I would advise continuing to hold for another 3 to 7 years. I have also had a bottle labeled as Dauvissat-Camus, which is in theory the same wine, but it didn't show as well as what i describe above.
