88 Burghound. A cool and pure nose offers up notes of raspberry, violet, blueberry and a hint of rose petal. There is a lovely underlying tension to the detailed and lightly mineral-inflected medium weight flavors that possess a robust character while terminating in a firm and dusty finale where a whisper of bitter cherry arises. This will need a few years of bottle age first.
